DIE-CASTING

SEDE DI CASTELL’ALFERO
The foundry stands on an area of over 14,000 m2. It has four smelting furnaces and 16 fully automated die casting cells, connected to an IoT-Industry 4.0 system.
The foundry is fully integrated with the plant maintenance and equipment maintenance divisions.
It processes various types of aluminium alloys depending on the characteristics of the products being made.
The foundry can process up to three types of alloys simultaneously and has an annual production capacity of approximately 19,000 tons of products sold.
Standard or stainless steel sandblasting, tumbling and surface treatments are performed by specialized suppliers.

SMELTING FURNACES

La fonderia dispone di 4 forni fusori verticali con capacità di fusione di 2.500 Kg/h ognuno, bacino da 5.000 Kg., alimentati a gas e sistema di degasaggio delle leghe.

DIE CASTING CELLS

Le 16 isole di pressofusione con pressocolatrici da 600 t a 2800 t completamente automatizzate, producono getti che pesano fino a 30 kg. Le termoregolazioni degli stampi e il sistema per stampaggio in sottovuoto fanno parte del processo. L’intero parco macchine è collegato con sistema IoT- Industria 4.0 per maggiore efficienza e controllo.

MACHINING

ALESSANDRO DOGLIONE WORKS

The Alessandro Doglione plant has been in production since 2015. It is currently used for the machining and assembly division, the warehouse storing finished products ready for delivery, and the related services.
All the stages of the production processes are done in the machining shop: CNC machining, testing, washing, final checking and packaging. Here there is a specifically equipped quality control area.
Fondalpress collaborates with partners specialized in machining to meet all kinds of customer needs.

MACHINING STATIONS

Fondalpress has a number of different CNC machining stations: vertical and horizontal twin-spindle , single-spindle , all of which are equipped with double rotary tables, washers, assembly, quality control and leak test stations.
Specific fully automated machining, assembly, control and traceability lines are created when necessary to meet project requirements.
